Sun Yongxin was born in 1947 in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, China. Since childhood, he has loved the art of painting. He is a disciple of the master of Chinese traditional painting, Mr. Cui Zifan, and Mr. Sun Qifeng of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently the Chairman of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Creation Base and the Dean of the China International Academy of Painting and Calligraphy. A national first-class artist, a scholar of philosophy studies at Peking University, and a well-known contemporary Chinese painter, he is a ambassador who loves world peace and spreads the friendship between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, and is a social activist dedicated to international ecological security and philanthropy.
